What is TMQ?

Its effect is enhanced when used with Vulkanox MB2 or ZMB2, and it is particularly effective in products vulcanized with Thiuram and with low or no sulfur content. TMQ also provides protection against various rubber product contaminants.
TMQ is soluble in organic solvents like benzene, acetone, etc., slightly soluble in petroleum hydrocarbons, and insoluble in water. TMQ is an amber-brown powder or granules with a specific gravity of 1.05. It is soluble in benzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, and acetone, but insoluble in water. It has low toxicity and low pollution but is flammable. Keep away from fire and moisture during storage and transportation.

It is a petroleum hydrocarbon with micro-solubility. TMQ has a specific gravity of 1.05, low toxicity, and low pollution. This product is flammable. Applications: TMQ is an excellent general-purpose ammonia aging agent. It is especially suitable for full steel and semi-steel medium radial tires and is widely used in tire tubes, rubber bands, rubber galoshes, and many other industrial rubber applications. It is also suitable for emulsion products. Commonly used in tires, rubber galoshes, rubber hoses, adhesive tapes, electrical wires, cables, and other rubber products.

What Is ZMTI?
ZMTI's molecular name is C16H14N4S2Zn. The CAS number is 61617-00-3. Its chemical name is Zinc 2-Mercaptomethyl benzimidazole. It appears as a gray-white powder. It is non-toxic, odorless, but has a more bitter taste.
ZMTI is one of the non-polluting antioxidant varieties similar to performance and antioxidant MBZ used in NR, SBR, BR, and other synthetic rubbers. It has a clear anti-thermal aging effect and has a synergistic effect with Amin and phenol antioxidants to enhance resistance to aging from heat and oxygen. It can be used in nitrile rubber. When used with accelerator M and DM, it has a function to prevent accelerated aging caused by harmful metals. It is generally used for transparent rubber products, light-colored, and bright-colored rubber products. The effect on curing properties is clearly less than MB, so it is not necessary to adjust the curing system for this product. It can also be used as a fine-tuning agent in natural latex foam products. It equals the foam structure and has a better effect than MB.
Applications: Used in natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile butadiene rubber, butyl rubber, and synthetic rubbers, with a clear anti-thermal aging effect. Typically used in combination with amine and phenolic antioxidants for synergistic effects, improving heat and oxygen aging properties. It can be used in nitrile butadiene rubber to block the role of harmful metals in accelerating aging when used with accelerator M and DM. Commonly used in transparent rubber products, light-colored, and colored rubber products.
