Anti-Scorching Agent
SUSC anti-scorching additive prevents discolouration in PU sponges. During the production process of block sponge, the temperature reaches 160 degrees Celsius, which causes discolouration and deterioration in the physical properties of PU sponge. SUSC anti-scorching contributes to solving these problems and lowering the temperature by 10 to 30 degrees.
Application areas
- Low density sponges using more FR and water
- Shiny sponges like bra sponges
- Countries with high humidity and high temperatures
- Recommended dosage: 0.5 to 1.5 php
- Packaging: 20 kg plastic drums and 50 kg sheet drums
Antiscorching agent CTP (PVI) (powder) | CAS17796-82-6
Application of anti-scorching agent GRP (PVI)
It is a high effective pre-vulcanisation inhibitor. It is applied in NR、SBR、BR、IIR、CR、EPM、EPDM、NBR with curing system composed of sulphur and Thiazole, but it is mainly Sulfenamide Accelerator. Even a small addition of these products to rubber compounds (0.1-0.3 phr.) improves the safety of processing and enables some technological processes to be accelerated during the preparation of rubber products.
Its use saves raw materials and power. The product can also improve the storage stability of rubber materials and protect them from natural vulcanisation during storage. Meanwhile, it has the recovery function for rubber materials transported at high temperature or in danger of scorching.
Packaging and Storage of Scorching agent FRP (PVI)
Packed in net 20 or 25 kg paper/plastic laminated bags. The products should be stored and transported on pallets in dry and closed places and vehicles. Storage life in undamaged original packaging is 2 years under observation of storage conditions.
