What is Antifog?

Product Description: Antifog is a silicone-based anti-fog agent.

Applications: CARE MADE- ANTI FOG is used to prevent fogging on automobile windshields, motorcycle helmet visors, and all glass surfaces exposed to fog formation.

Appearance: Clear liquid

Usage Instructions

CARE MADE- ANTI FOG should be used undiluted, without any solvents. It is important that the surface to be treated is clean and dry. Apply it evenly over the surface to form a thin film as the solvent evaporates, using a clean, dry cloth. It prevents fogging and provides clear visibility.

CARE MADE- ANTI FOG contains flammable materials. Avoid smoking during application and store in well-ventilated areas.

Storage - Shelf Life

The shelf life of the material, when stored in its original packaging and with tightly sealed lids, is 6 months between 5°C and 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight and extreme cold.

Antifog Additives

Antifog additives contain both hydrophobic and hydrophilic chemical groups within a single molecule.

  • Antifog additives are added directly to the polymer matrix during extrusion.
  • Antifog additives migrate to the film surface.
  • Antifog additives increase the surface energy of the film and reduce the water contact angle.
